Ministry Description: |
Every week a group of different musicians gather on Thursday night to creatively put together a worship set for the upcoming Sunday and to have prayer and fellowship with one another. Music packets are mailed out 2 weeks in advance so that everyone can come fully prepared to the rehearsal. This ministry is for gifted musicians who feel called by God to creatively use their skills to help our congregation worship Him through music on Sunday mornings. |

Next Steps: |
1. Observe a Thursday evening rehearsal at the Ministry Center where we prayerfully & creatively work together to prepare a worship set for the upcoming Sunday. Rehearsals begin at 6:45 p.m. and generally end at 10:00 p.m.
2. Call Michelle Albrecht at the Ministry Center – 847.838.0800 x13 – to request an application / questionnaire for the Music Team. After Michelle receives your application, she will contact you to set-up an informal meeting where she can get to know you better, give you more information about the music team and (if needed) discuss the audition process.
3. Auditions are held on an as-needed basis. They generally take between 30-45 minutes and are scheduled on either Thursday or Sunday afternoons at the Ministry Center. A music packet will be mailed 2 weeks prior to the audition. You will be asked to play/sing with 3 or 4 other members from the music team. After the audition, we work as a team to determine if the Music Ministry is a place where your gifts will be used the most effectively. We will also evaluate based on the current needs of the Music Team. |
