Welcome to the Bridge!
We are so glad that you have joined us today. NorthBridge Church exists to be a safe place for people to encounter the God of the universe. We are a community of people seeking truth and pursuing God with passion and abandon. If you have questions or if we can pray for you, please use the Communication Card in your program and drop it in the offering basket or take it to the Information Table. We consider it a privilege to help you as you move forward in your spiritual journey.
Student Ministries Parent Forum Dinner
All parents are encouraged to attend our next Parent Forum on Friday, March 12. We will meet at the NorthBridge Ministry Center and dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m. Our time will focus on Equipping Our Students to Share Their Faith. Our desire is to share ideas on how students and parents can reach out together to share the gospel. If you would like to attend, please the office at 847.838.0800.
Newcomer’s Lunch
Our next Newcomer’s Lunch will be next Sunday, March 14 at 12:15 p.m. at the Ministry Center. If you are new to NorthBridge and would like the opportunity to meet members of our staff, ministry leaders and other newcomers, please plan on joining us. If you would like to attend, please the office at 847.838.0800.
Child Dedication
On Sunday, March 21, we will be having a Child Dedication Ceremony during each service. This is an opportunity for parents to publicly proclaim their desire to raise their child in the Christian faith and invite the NorthBridge community to help them in the process. If you are interested in participating in this ceremony, please call the office at 847.838.0800. Space is limited to 4 families per service so sign up as soon as possible.
New Strong Start Group Beginning
Strong Start is a 4 week small group of newcomers to NorthBridge that gives you a safe place to air your feelings/doubts/questions about Jesus and Christianity, to learn what it looks like to follow Christ with your whole heart, and learn how to get connected to the NorthBridge community of faith. A new group will gather on March 21 and 28 then on April 11 and 18. For more information or to sign up, contact Andy Sudhoff at 847.838.0800 x18.
Special Maundy Thursday Gathering
To help us prepare for Good Friday and Easter, we will be holding a special gathering on April 1 at the VFW Hall. Maundy Thursday is the night before Good Friday, the night Jesus shared a final meal with his disciples. To remember this important event, we will hold a gathering for the whole family. This night will feature a simple supper; a time of worship; celebration of communion; and some interactive teaching to engage the whole family. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. If you would like to attend, please the office at 847.838.0800.
30 Hour Famine
The Student Ministries are in the process of preparing to participate in the World Vision 30 Hour Famine. This is the 2nd Annual Event for our youth group and will be held on April 23-25. Please be in prayer for the students and the leaders as they are currently raising funds for this cause. More information will be coming in the near future, so stay tuned. If you would like to find out more about the 30 Hour Famine, you can visit the website at www.30hourfamine.org or contact Student Ministries Director, Türe Riker at 847.838.0800 x16.
